Dr Brad Cocks B.D.S. (Hons)
Dr Bradley Cocks graduated from University of Queensland with Honours and has been treating patients on the southern Gold Coast for over 35 years. Brad along with Stephen founded The Pines Dental in 1993 and has been caring for patients in the Palm beach/Elanora region since.
Brad prides on assisting patients achieve their oral health goals through minimal intervention and preventative care methods. He strives to always offer the highest level of dental care and when Brad isn’t helping patients in the surgery he likes to travel, enjoys cycling and spending time with family and friends. He is a member of the Australian Dental Association.
Dr Jijesh Nhalila-Valappil B.D.S, M.P.H
Dr Jijesh Nhalila-Valappil has worked at the Pines Dental for the past decade and has focused on building strong relationships with patients over that time.
He has a special interest in helping patients who are nervous or anxious about visiting the dentist, including children, where he often uses Nitrous Oxide sedation (Laughing Gas) and The Wand anaesthesia system for needle phobic patients.
His other areas of interest include Cosmetic Dentistry, Root Canal treatment and complex mouth rehabilitation. He has a Master’s in Public Health, is a member of the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Australian Dental Association and working to be an accredited member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. He lives with his young family in Elanora and enjoys playing soccer and cycling.
Dr Stephen Godden B.D.S
Dr Stephen Godden graduated from University of Queensland in 1990, and has over 28 years of experience. He has worked for over 3.5 years in Cairns and Cooktown.
Stephen co-founded The Pines Dental Surgery and has been working here for over 25 years. To this day, he is still one of the Principal dentists and owners.
Stephen has been on the Gold Coast since 1981. He attended Merrimac State High school at Mermaid Waters and The Southport School.
Dr Godden frequently visits Tweed Day Surgery for patients after dental procedures under General Anaesthetic that may have a dental phobia or very anxious about visiting the dentist.
He is experienced in all areas of modern dentistry and is dedicated to providing pain-free dentistry in a comfortable and relaxed environment.
Dr Godden works most Saturday mornings and is happy to discuss any aspect of your treatment or dental needs.
